We never quite did manage to finalize the acronymn…
Twelve adults, six kids ages three and under, and two dogs–what’s that line from Hannah and Her Sisters? We All Had a Terrific Time. No really, we did!
Our annual Williams reunion was the biggest ever this year, and amazingly we managed to find a time when almost all could attend. Kai even made the loooong trip from sunny California and managed to survive the New England chill. We were all tucked away in various bedrooms in Katie’s family’s old, sprawling farmhouse in Connecticut that’s been in her family for 5 generations now–chock full of memories and family memorabilia. Early mornings, late nights, walks through the fall foliage, loud and rambling dinner parties after the kids were put to bed and lots of college remembrances starting with…’can you believe we did that?!’–the first of many annual Cornwall retreats, we hope! Eliza was fascinated by all of the other children and new faces (she was the youngest, although Kate has one in the hopper) and even managed to sleep a few hours at night.
More pictures to come…
Lovely photos! Any way I could get prints of a few of them? I need to add some photos of little miss gordito(a?) to my fridge gallery.
That would be wonderful! Emailing them to me would be ideal.
Thank you,
