Eliza enjoyed the first big snow in Brooklyn yesterday. She was a little bit perplexed about the snow sticking to her boots, but soon got into kicking it and stomping on it. The snow was beautifully white and untouched on our early morning walk to Music Together and Park Slope had that eery quiet that only comes with a layer of new snow. By the afternoon, the park was buzzing with sledders–and it was very cold. When Eliza’s cheeks started turning a kind of blue-violet color in the cold we had to turn back for home…bring it on, snow, we are ready for a blizzard!
