We were thrilled to have a visit from Uncle David, Auntie Miyoko and sweet cousin Marisa. The Freitas/Koike family is posted in Nepal for two years for David’s job with the Foreign Service. I can’t tell you how nice it was to visit with family on this side of the world! Eliza and Marisa had a ball taking bucket baths together, making homemade play-doh, going on rides at the McLeod Mela (annual end of monsoon fair) or just hanging out on the deck or taking walks, always on the lookout for monkeys or cows.
We can’t wait to rendez-vous again soon, either in India (the beach this time, please) or Nepal!
