Eliza gives thanks

It’s been a whirlwind of activity in Eliza-land lately…swimming lessons in preparation for our upcoming Caribbean getaway, a visit to Mommie’s work, and a quiet thanksgiving at home in Brooklyn followed by a quick weekend trip to Boston to see family and friends.  Eliza got to meet “Auntie” Marta for the first time, and thanks to Marta (who is a pediatric dentist), we now know how to take care of Eliza’s two teeth.  Yes folks, she’s got some chompers.

Eliza and her cousin Sophia finally got a chance to play together!  We also discovered that we have got to find ourselves a nine year-old. My cousin Cloe entertained Eliza until she was almost blue in the face from giggling…we have certainly never seen her that happy before!  Cloe’s comment after pretending to be a dog and leaping around for about an hour and a half: ‘my tongue is SO dry!’

My elementary school friends also got together for a lovely brunch at Caitlin & David’s place in JP and Eliza and Dahlia got to hang out again–they are birthday buddies, born on the same day just a few hours apart.  We can’t wait to catch up with even more family and friends over Christmas!  Here’s hoping you and yours enjoy (survive?!) the busy holiday season.

Love to see the photos. I love to see that babies can take to water so FAST. I wish I had had that exposure that early, good job MOM! I’m still getting use to water as an adult and I swim regularly.
