The lucky little lady jetted off to St. Martin last week courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa Freitas–what a nice present for us all! Eliza ate about a pound of sand and loved swimming and playing in the ocean. She even managed to stay up until sunset a few nights. We spent all of our time exploring remote and baby-friendly beaches on the French side (baguettes, cafe au lait, and stellar wine among other good reasons to choose the French). Can we please go back soon?! There are lots of smokers on the island (no-tax cigarettes and europeans on vacay) and Nate can work from anywhere–I think we are moving to the Caribbean!
