What a week! Fortunately, we had a great day of rest, relaxation and even a mildly traumatic bath time. What Eliza is really excited about however, is that her Grandma and Grandpa Freitas from California arrive in Brooklyn tomorrow!

Luka’s first bath didn’t go down so well either. He cried and seemed scared. Becky & Cyndi suggested showering with him. That’s what we did for the first 3 months. It went well because I could hold him close to my body tight and smile at him and make it fun. He even nursed sometimes. But be careful – sometimes it gets slippery when you have soap on and you are cleaning armpits and hips one-handed. Otherwise, Aunt Sharon wisely suggested a sponge bath on a towel on the bed, which
